My first jewellery obsession..
I’ve been jewellery obsessed for as long as I can remember, but one piece stands out more than any other.
When I was around 14/15, I fell in LOVE with a huge solid gold curb chain. Looking back, it was probably more suited to a grown man than a teenage girl, but I was determined to have it.
On my after school Macca’s wage, I had absolutely no business buying a necklace that cost thousands LOL. But I put that baby on lay-buy, extended said lay-buy about a hundred times and eventually paid it off..
Years later, I still wear that necklace.
Looking back, it probably explains why permanent jewellery feels so special to me, I love jewellery that has a story or memory behind it, even if it’s a silly one.
More than just me
While you'll usually find me fitting & welding your jewellery or helping you decide on what chain style works best, Pretty Permanent is very much a family effort.
My husband Matt is usually right beside me at markets & events, helping things run smoothly, doing the heavy lifting & the welding. You’ll occasionally spot our kids lending a hand too.
